Why am I doing Primal Quest?
Primal Quest is an event so much more challenging than anything that I have attempted before, that I have no gauge to predict the likely outcome of the attempt.  Primal Quest represents a challenge, so vast and so difficult that it forces anyone who wishes to compete in the event to muster and focus all their talents and resources, with out guarantee of success.  It forces a team to work together in true harmony, or be shattered when its mettle is put to the test during the race. It will force me to learn to work seamless and selflessly with my team mates; to let go of old notions about my limitations as a person and an athlete; and to let go of old notions of what is and is not possible. 

In the end, I hope to find out more about what I am capable of doing, and what kind of person I am.
